ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shireen Mazari Wednesday condemned the arrest of Fawad Chaudhry and urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the illegal happenings in Pakistan.

Shireen Mazari was talking to the media against the detention of Chaudhry and said that polarization has been taking place in Pakistan, “Whole nation is standing with Imran Khan while the state is standing on the other side.”

She also said that while protesting against the arrest of Fawad Chaudhry in Jehlum, his brother Faraz Chaudhry along with other PTI workers have been arrested.

Mazari while questioning the abduction of Fawad Chaudhry, urged the chief justice of Pakistan to take notice of such happenings and urged him to stand against all this.

The PTI leader also urged the president to stand for the country and justice.

Mazari said that democracy has ended in the country.”Fawad Chaudhry attacked from the front line and raised his voice for democracy which is why this happened.”

On the other hand, Zulfi Bukhari said that Fawad Chaudhry was arrested for questioning the appointment of caretaker CM in Punjab.

He said that Chaudhry always supported democracy and justice in Pakistan.
