PTI Lahore Secretary Zubair Niazi’s brother denies arrest

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Lahore Secretary General Zubair Niazi has reportedly been arrested.

This was stated by PTI leader and former Punjab government spokesperson Musarrat Cheema. The development comes hours following the arrest of PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry.

However, Zubair Niazi’s brother has denied his arrest. Uzair Niazi said that there were reports circulating that his brother has been taken into custody. He denied reports that his brother has been arrested.

Police personnel have been summoned from different districts of the province, sources revealed.  Lahore administration has also sealed all the roads leading to Imran Khan’s residence in Zaman Park.

Punjab police has also ordered personnel from other nearby districts to reach Lahore. It is anticipated that a grand operation will be launched after the police forces reaches the provincial capital.
