KARACHI: Following the attack on Karachi Police Office (KPO), the investigative agencies have decided to investigate the terrorists of banned organisations in jails across Karachi and Sindh.

The sources said that the terrorists and facilitators of banned and nationalist organizations imprisoned in jails will be investigated regarding the incident.

Meanwhile, police sources said that no one has yet come to receive the bodies of the terrorists killed in the KPO incident.

Officials added that if the claimant of the bodies comes forward, the case will be strengthened and further progress will be made in the investigation.

On the other hand, progress has been made in the Karachi Police Office attack case, the CTD Police has submitted the preliminary report to the court.

According to the report, two facilitators of the incident are present in Karachi, efforts are on to arrest them.

Notably, KPO came under attack on Friday evening when armed militants entered the Karachi chief office and were killed after a gun battle of over three hours.
