KARACHI: Chairman Ruet-i-Hilal Committee has announced that the Shaban-ul-Moazzam moon has been sighted in the country.
The Ruet-i-Hilal Committee announced that the first Shaban will take place on February 22, Wednesday. The central moon sighting committee confirmed collecting evidence and witnesses for the crescent.
The moon of Shaban was sighted in other areas including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar.
After the sighting of the moon of Shaban-ul-Moazzam, one month or 29 days are left for the beginning of Ramadan, while according to the moon, Shab- e -Barat will be on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
