Nawaz Sharif’s legal team on Tuesday filed three separate applications in the Accountability Court of Islamabad, seeking relief in the Toshakhana reference case.
Firstly, a request has been filed to release the property that was seized from Nawaz Sharif in connection with the Toshakhana reference. This indicates an effort to reclaim the seized assets.
Secondly, an application has been submitted to appoint a pleader in the Toshakhana case. This suggests the need for legal representation in the case to ensure Nawaz Sharif’s interests are properly safeguarded.
Lastly, a petition has been filed in court for the deposit of surety bonds, which may be related to legal or financial aspects of the case.
Furthermore, the issue of Nawaz Sharif’s appearance in the Toshakhana case has also come to the forefront.
The Accountability Court judge, Muhammad Bashir, has instructed Nawaz Sharif to appear in court between one o’clock or half past one today.
