An Accountability Court in Islamabad on Wednesday extended the interim bail of Bushra Bibi in £190 million, Toshakhana scandal till November 17.

Accountability Court judge Muhammad Bashir heard former first lady’s bail plea, however Bushra Bibi and her lawyer did not appear before the court.

The court inquired that why no one appeared before the court, mentioning that the hearing was kept for arguments.

To which the NAB prosecutor replied that Sardar Latif Khosa representing Imran Khan’s wife is a lawyer but still no one has come from his side yet.

Furthermore, the NAB had recently presented an 11-question questionnaire to Bushra Bibi in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust case.

The questionnaire posed to her encompassed various aspects, including her relationship with Farah Gogi, the motives behind establishing Al-Qadir Trust, whether she pursued any courses in jurisprudence or pedagogy, whether she continued to receive benefits from Al-Qadir Trust as a teacher, her satisfaction with Farah Gogi’s financial matters, and whether Malik Riaz himself expressed interest in Al-Qadir Trust or if she initiated contact with him.

The former first lady responded to the NAB Rawalpindi office’s summons in connection with the 190-million-pound case.
