New Driving License Fees for Gujranwala and Multan

The traffic police in Punjab, Pakistan, have launched a campaign targeting individuals driving without valid licenses. This initiative is actively in progress not only in Lahore but also in cities like Gujranwala and Multan within the province.

Mandatory Licensing for Safe Driving

Driving without a proper license is deemed a violation, making it essential for individuals to obtain one before operating any vehicle. The Traffic Police Punjab serves as the competent authority responsible for issuing driving licenses to eligible individuals throughout the province.

License Eligibility and Application Process

Eligibility for a car or motorcycle license requires an original ID card and a medical fitness certificate for those aged 50 years or older.

Essential documents include the original learner permit, and applicants are required to deposit a fee of Rs 1,230 (as of October 2023) along with the necessary forms. These tickets can be acquired from any branch of the Pakistan Post.
