ISLAMABAD: The accountability court of Islamabad on Friday issued ads for six suspects including Zulfi Bukhari, Farhat Shehzadi alias Farah Gogi, Mirza Shehzad Akbar and Ziaul Mustafa Naseem declaring them proclaimed offenders in the case pertaining to £190 million scandal, Bol News reported.

The advertisements of the suspects have been pasted on walls of the Judicial Complex, Islamabad. The court had ordered that advertisements be pasted outside the residences of the accused and also be read loudly in their ancestral and residential areas.

On November 24, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan had approached the Supreme Court for bail in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB)’s 190 million pounds case, Bol News reported.

The PTI chief had filed an appeal against the decision of the high court. The appeal was filed by Advocate Latif Khosa in the top court on his client’s behalf.

The petition had said Imran Khan was arrested in the Toshakhana case. The trial court had dismissed the bail plea for non-appearance.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) had also upheld the decision to dismiss the bail application. The decision of the high court should be annulled and the bail should be reinstated, he had pleaded.
