Asifa Bhutto to contest by-election from NA-196

The late Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s daughter, Asifa Bhutto, will participate in the by-election from National Assembly Constituency NA-196 from Shahdadkot.

Former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari won NA-196 Shahdadkot in the recent elections, but now he will vacate this seat for Asifa Bhutto.

It should be noted that late Ms. Benazir Bhutto has also contested the election on the same seat in the past.

In addition to that, although Asifa Bhutto has started practical politics by participating in the election campaign of her brother Bilawal Bhutto in the recent elections, after winning the by-elections, she can officially start participating in parliamentary politics.

Previously, Asifa Bhutto Zardari was not participated in the general elections 2024 and has not submitted her nomination papers from any constituency of the country.

However, Bhutto’s daughter run the election campaign of the party and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari across the country.

Earlier, the chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, announced legal proceedings against those who accused him of rigging.

Bilawal Bhutto put all the Form 45 of his constituency in front of the public and said that according to the Form 47, I have gotten 1,35,112 votes, which is a massive lead win of more than 100,000 over my opponent.
