President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Karachi Division Saeed Ghani says: The past of Karachi is very terrible, I fear that the situation will not deteriorate further on February 8.

In a press conference in Karachi, Saeed Ghani said that in the Nazimabad firing incident, three of our workers were injured and their vehicles were burnt. Even after this incident, we demanded a judicial investigation. If the investigation was done at that time, such an incident would not have happened. He said that the role of the police in this whole matter is also doubtful. The case of MQM is registered, but our case is not registered, even the incidents that happened before this were not processed. I said: If these small incidents are not stopped, a big incident can happen.

The PPP leader said that we can win a large number of provincial and national assembly seats from Karachi. The election is a few days away, I am afraid that the riots may not escalate on February 8.

The veteran politician said that the firing incident that happened in Korangi on Friday should be investigated. The law enforcement agencies and the Election Commission should investigate the matter. Neither I nor anyone else has the right to disturb the peace and order of the city. Steps should be taken to restore peace and order in Karachi.

Ghani said that he is telling his candidates and supporters not to fight, to be patient. We want the elections to be peaceful, all the candidates have been asked to conduct a peaceful election campaign.

He said that the peace of the city was restored with the great difficulties, and people are openly campaigning, they are openly trying to harass the citizens again. I demand action from the caretaker government and law enforcement agencies.

It should be remembered that a child was killed and three PPP workers were injured in a clash between two political parties in Korangi.
