The Commissioner Karachi issued a notice about the prices of the food items.
The spokesperson of the Sindh Chief Minister said that under the directives of Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, the price control program was initiated wherein the administration would monitor prices through a price list.
According to the notice, the dairy farm milk price is set at Rs180, the wholesale at Rs188, and retail at Rs200 per liter while the wholesale price of sugar is Rs123 per kilogram and the retail price is Rs130.
Likewise, the price of X flour mill flour is Rs120, wholesale Rs123 and retail Rs128 while the fine X flour mill flour is Rs130, wholesale Rs133 and retail Rs138, with the retail price of mill flour set at Rs140.
According to the notice, the price of goat meat is set at Rs1700, lamb meat at Rs1450 and buffalo meat at Rs1590 per kilogram.
The price of live farm chicken is Rs366, wholesale Rs378, and retail Rs386 while the price of chicken meat is set at Rs598 per kilogram.
The notices about the prices of grocery and bakery items have also been delivered.
