We Want trade, not credit: Attalullah Tarar

• Pakistan’s economy is improving due to government policies, said Attaullah Tarar.
• Tarar became the youngest minister to be elected in the cabinet.
• Tarar said that Pakistan wants trade and investment, not loans.

LAHORE: The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar stated on Wednesday that the nation’s economy is on an upward trajectory due to the wise strategies implemented by the government.

While addressing the conference, Tarar said, “I have the honor of becoming the youngest minister in the federal cabinet. Accomplished Umrah during the first foreign visit accompanied by the Prime Minister, Allah Ta’ala gave the privilege of performing Nawafil inside the Kaaba.”

He added that he had the opportunity to perform Taraweeh in Masjid e Nabawi (peace be upon him) and Nawafil in Riaz Al-Jinah. He also mentioned that he prayed for the development of the country and the prosperity of the people.

The minister said, “Special attention is being given to the daily affairs of the people of the constituency. Efforts will continue to improve the system, we have always been respected by the party, and all the workers should solve the problems of the constituency together.”

He talked about the investment of 5 billion dollars will be made by Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan.

Earlier this week, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif along with his delegation visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where they met with the Crown Price and other officials. The entire visit was covered by the Saudi media.

Tarar also mentioned that Paksiatn want trade instead of credit. The leaders of the country have voiced their interest in the favor of investment rather than loan.

It is to be noted that the stock exchange rose significantly right after the announcement of 5 billion dollar investment by Saudi Arabia.

He added, “We want to improve the tax system, special attention is being given to privatization, our doors are open for workers, we have to work together with workers.”
