The festival of sacrifice known as Bakr-Eid or Eid-Al-Adha is observed by Muslims everywhere. However, without a delectable spread of traditional mutton dishes, the event is lacking. We have some pretty intriguing mutton recipes this time around for everyone to enjoy together as they celebrate their love of meat. Galloti Kabab

Add 500 gms of mutton keema, 2 tbsp of raw papaya paste, 1 tbsp of onion paste, and 2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste to a mixing bowl. 2 tbsp chana powder, 2 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp cardamom powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp chilli powder, 2 tbsp oil, and salt to taste. The ingredients should be thoroughly combined before being chilled for 40 minutes. From the ingredients, form medium-sized tikkis and cook them in ghee on a nonstick pan. Serve warm.

Konkan Mutton Curry

500 g of mutton should be marinated in 1 tbsp. salt and 2 tsp. ginger garlic paste. Give it 20 to 30 minutes to relax. Put it aside after shallow frying it in coconut oil. Fry 1/2 cup grated coconut and 1 onion in the same pan, then remove from heat. In the meantime, dry roast 1 cinnamon stick, 3 cloves, 3 cardamom, 2 star anise, and 1 tbsp cumin seeds in a separate pan. Once they are fragrant, add them to the coconut and onion combination along with 1 inch of ginger and 5-7 garlic cloves to make a smooth paste. Add some extra oil and 1 diced onion to the same pan. Add the paste and mutton piece after cooking for 2 minutes. The meat should be cooked thoroughly after adjusting the salt.

​Dhaby ka Keema

2 tbsp of oil, 1 bay leaf, 2 green cardamom, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, and 2 cloves are added to the pan after it has heated up. Allow them to exhale the scent. Two chopped onions are then added and cooked till golden brown. Add 1 tbsp butter, 2 tsp. ginger, and 4 garlic cloves. Cook it well. Add two green chilies and half a cup of chopped bell pepper to this. Add 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp red chilli, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp coriander, 1/4 tsp asafoetida, and salt to taste after cooking for 3 minutes. For five minutes, cook. Add 250 gms of mutton mince now, and simmer for a further 5 minutes. Add 2 tbsp of lemon juice and 1 tsp of sugar after that. Cover and cook for 10 minutes on a medium flame. Garnish with coriander leaves, and serve.

dried roast To make a fine powder, combine 1 tsp of coriander seeds, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 tsp of black pepper, 1 tsp of cumin, and 3 cloves in a pan. Sauté a chopped onion in 2 tbsp of oil in the same pan. 4-6 garlic cloves, 2 teaspoons of ginger, and 2 green chilies should be minced and added to the onion in the meantime. Add the fine masala powder and salt to taste. Stir in water after combining everything in a skillet. 500 g of minced mutton, 1 tbsp of garam masala, and salt to taste should be added to this. Cook well for 10–12 minutes. Add two boiling potatoes, two tablespoons of flour, and four tablespoons of bread crumbs at this time. Mix well, then form the mixture into cutlets. 20 minutes should be spent chilling before shallow frying in oil or ghee.

Andhra-Style Mutton Curry

A kadhai should be heated for 30 seconds after adding 2 tbsp oil, 2 bay leaves, 1 cinnamon stick, 4 cardamom, and cloves. Add 2 tablespoons of ginger garlic paste and 2 medium onions to it. until the colour changes, sauté. Add 250 gms of cubed mutton, 1 tsp of turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well. Add 4 tablespoons of the cashew and poppy seed paste, 1 tablespoon each of the red chilli powder, garam masala, mutton masala, and coriander powder. Mix thoroughly, then bake for a few minutes. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the curry thickens, after adding water. Add coriander leaves as a garnish and let the lid off for two minutes. Serve warm alongside steaming rice.
