Alia Bhatt Shares Throwback Pictures for Soni Razdan’s Birthday

Alia Bhatt shared a sweet and funny childhood memory as she wished her mom, actor Soni Razdan, a happy birthday. She posted a picture of herself as a little girl, sitting on her mom’s lap during one of her birthdays, along with a recent photo of them sitting side by side.

Alia posted two photos on Instagram and wrote, “On your birthday I look back at one of my birthdays.. I spent the whole party sitting on your lap cause I was too scared of the inflated Godzilla which I drove you up the wall to get me.. But nonetheless I look perfectly content and happy and clearly there’s no place I’d rather be.. Happy birthday mothership .. we’d be nothing without you.. grateful for you every single minute every single day.. love you @sonirazdan.”

In response to the post, Soni expressed her thoughts, “Thank you my sweetheart light of my life and centre of my soul … my lap is yours always and so is my love.”

Tara Sharma left a comment on Alia’s post, “Aw adorable. Happy Birthday @sonirazdan.” Saba Ali Khan also wrote, “Happy birthday aunty.”

Zoya Akhtar sent her wishes to Soni, while Dia Mirza simply left a heart emoji in the comments. A fan also expressed their feelings, “first photo is very beautiful and the second photo is very happy, thank you.”

Alia Bhatt‘s sister, Shaheen Bhatt, who is the elder daughter of Soni, wished her mother Soni by posting old vacation photos on Instagram.

She wrote ” Centre of my universe – then, now, always. Happy Birthday ma.” Reacting to her post, Soni wrote, “Thank you my darling child you are the core of my and soul and all the rest of it you make my world turn and my heart so so happy.”

Soni was in a movie called “Sardar Ka Grandson” in 2021 and also appeared in a web series called “Call My Agent: Bollywood” during the same year. Now, she’s going to be in a war drama called “Pippa,” where she’ll act alongside Ishaan Khatter, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Mrunal Thakur.
