Ali Zafar grants forgiveness to those who wronged him

Ali appeared as a guest on Ahmad Ali Butt’s podcast, where he made some interesting revelations about his journey.

A few years ago, Ali Zafar became embroiled in a significant controversy when fellow singer Meesha Shafi accused him of harassment. The news spread rapidly, and Ali and Meesha are still litigating the case in court. Obviously, both Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi have suffered due to the case, but families are collateral damage in such situations, and Ali’s family was also affected.

Ali said that “he is the eldest son in the family and watching his family go through bullying was a lot as he is instinctively programmed to protect them. He is thankful to his family and his wife for being his rock. Ali added that at that time he thought simply taking the legal route is the right thing but what he now feels is that he should have named the motives of those targeting him.”

Ali further said that “he is at peace now and though things will remain on the legal front, he has forgiven everyone who wronged him.”
