Sarmad Khoosat's fans express outrage over injustice towards him

A brilliant Pakistani director, actor, and producer, Sarmad Khoosat has contributed to the media industry for more than two decades. He gained prominence through his iconic sitcom Shashlik. Additionally, he has starred in numerous hit television dramas such as Dil Muhalle ki Haweli, Teri Raza, Baghi, and Pardes, among others. Sarmad Khoosat has directed or produced many blockbuster and masterpiece projects including Humsafar, Manto, Shehr E Zaat, Akhri Station, Pani Jesa Piyar, and Zindagi Tamasha. He was also the producer of the film Kamli, starring Saba Qamar, which film enthusiasts adored.

Lately, the actor has expressed his frustration about the recent injustice done to him. Sarmad Khoosat was supposed to receive the presidential award this year for his long-standing career as a film and drama maker, but authorities removed his name from the upcoming achievers’ list.

He took it to Instagram, and Sarmad wrote, “SITARA-I-IMTIAZ RANDOM FUN FACT | NEWS. UPDATE 4. My name has vanished from ‘the 14th August ’23 list’ of Presidential Awards that everyone ‘officially’ and unofficially congratulated me for. Sorry, please take your Mubaraks back. Bhaee yeh mai nay khud tou nahii bana li thii list. And as far as I remember (from the year I got the PP) the list disclosed on the 14th of August is the finalized list unless the recipient refuses to accept the award”.

Sarmad Khoosat's fans are highly angered by this injustice against the actor. They are expressing that "he has contributed more to the country and its image than these influentials and anyone who has seen his work can confirm this fact!". Fans expressed gratitude towards Sarmad for his incredible services to the entertainment industry. They believe it is the worst thing to happen to an artist who has dedicated his life to art and entertainment, producing numerous hit films and dramas. Many fans are stating that they are not surprised by this new low.
