The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the PSL 2020 schedule of the knockout stage matches that were postponed due to the coronavirus.
The tournament was halted amid coronavirus pandemic.
“The four matches will be held in Lahore on November 14, 15 and 17 with only the Qualifier and Eliminator 1 to be a double-header,” the PCB stated in a press release. “Eliminator 2 will be played on the following day, while the event will conclude on Tuesday, November 17.”
Multan Sultans will play against Karachi Kings in the Qualifier whereas the first Eliminator will be played between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars.
The losing team in the qualifier will face off the winners of the first Eliminator in the second Elimination fixture.
The final will be played between the winners of the Qualifier and second Eliminator.
The knock out matches of the event will be played under strict safety protocols which includes bio-secure bubble for the players, match officials and event-related staff. “The matches are currently planned to be held behind closed doors, though the situation will be closely monitored and will be reviewed in October.”
