Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez will confront Gennady Golovkin in a set of three battle on September 17 as he expects to shield his status as the undisputed lord of the super-middleweight division.

Alvarez was outpointed by WBA light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol recently as he experienced only the second loss of his 61-battle proficient vocation.

Yet, the Mexican remaining parts the WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO super-middleweight champion and will venture down to that weight class to battle Golovkin instead of look for a quick rematch with Bivol.
