The Netherlands had unexpectedly defeated South Africa earlier in the day, therefore Bangladesh had to defeat the green shirts. At the Adelaide Oval, The Men in Green defeated Bangladesh by a margin of five wickets, securing their place among the last four.
On November 10 at the Adelaide Oval, India and England will square off in the second semi-final of the major competition.

The Men in Blue scored a substantial 186 runs before dismissing Zimbabwe for 115 in 17.2 overs.
The African team’s batting lineup disintegrated while attempting to reach the target. Ryan Burl and Sikandar Raza, though, came back with solid blows.
Raza, who has been outstanding in this year’s competition, hit 34 runs in 24 balls before being dismissed by Hardik Pandya, while Burl was out after scoring 35 runs by R Ashwin.
Regis Chakabava and Wesley Madhvere were returned without scoring any runs.
For India, Ashwin took three wickets, while Pandya and Mohammad Shami each took two. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Axar Patel, and Arshdeep Singh each claimed one wicket during this time.

Suryakumar Yadav, India’s top T20I hitter, earlier produced yet another fantastic effort, this time an unbeaten 61 off 25 deliveries, which helped India reach a decent score of 186-5.
He walked in to bat in the 12th over of the innings, when India was 87/2, and started to score runs right away. The other middle-order batters struggled to get going, but Yadav put forth an amazing performance, hitting six fours and four sixes.
For India, KL Rahul too had a remarkable inning, scoring 51 runs off just 35 deliveries.
India has already advanced to the semifinals following South Africa’s defeat against the Netherlands earlier in the day. They would however want to win this game in order to top Group 2 and guarantee a meeting with England in the semifinals.
