Details on tickets for the second Test match between Pakistan and England in Multan, which starts on December 9, have been released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Today at 1400, tickets for the game, which will mark the first Test cricket in the City of Saints in more than 16 years, will go on sale (PST). On pcb.bookme.pk, the tickets will be accessible.
The Pakistan Cricket Board fixed the prices of the tickets at minimum Rs250 for VIP and Rs150 for Premium enclosure, the PCB said in a news release, “to make the most prestigious format of the game accessible to more and more people.”
Imran Khan, Fazal Mehmood, Javed Miandad, and Zaheer Abbas had VIP enclosures, while Wasim Akram, Elahi Brother, Hanif Mohammad, and Mushtaq Ahmed had Premium enclosures, according to the statement.
Only physical tickets will be offered, and they will be accessible every day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Gulgasht Bagh and Main Vihari Chowk.
According to the PCB, “Entry within the venue on a match day shall strictly be through an ID card or B-Form used when purchasing the ticket.”
Entry to the game will only be permitted on printed tickets, which fans can purchase from authorised Bookme box offices located at Gulgasht Bagh and Main Vihari Chowk from 0900 to 1800 daily beginning on Monday, December 5.
“Printed tickets may be obtained in exchange for your electronic tickets starting at 1400 today, or may be purchased straight from the aforementioned sites.
“Everyone entering the stadium and sitting inside the enclosure during the match must have their own unique and original ID Card/B-Form & ticket.”
It should be remembered that on Sunday, the fourth day of the first Test in Rawalpindi, Pakistan was bowled for 579, giving England a first innings lead of 78.
Pakistan scored 80 runs after resuming at 499-7 on a level pitch to reduce the gap on England’s first-inning score of 657.
Zahid Mahmood scored 17, Agha Salman made 53, and Haris Rauf scored 12 as the Pakistani tail held off the English bowlers for 85 minutes.
Off-spinner Will Jacks, making his debut, finished with a score of 6-161, while left-armer Jack Leach scored 2-190.
After avoiding Pakistan for the previous 17 years due to security concerns, England is now visiting for the first time in a test series.
