Mohammad Nawaz controlled with the ball in the 2nd one-day international against New Zealand, carrying four wickets for 38 runs in ten overs.

In 49.5 overs, the left-arm spinner helped Pakistan dismiss the opposition for 261 runs. The Pakistani batsmen were all out for only 182 runs, failing to complete the task.

Nawaz expressed his satisfaction with his performance during the post-game press conference when asked about bowling on the Karachi surface.

“This pitch was not like the typical Karachi pitch. Spinners were receiving assistance, which was why both teams couldn’t bat any longer “He stated.

“As a professional, I always try to adjust to the circumstances and play my natural game,” he added.

Nawaz was duped. Kane Williamson came in after the right-handed batter survived two dropped chances. Nawaz bowled a typical left-arm spin delivery to dismiss Williamson, who was batting at 85.

Nawaz acknowledged that this dismissal was unique for him. “It was a typical left-arm spin delivery that gave me a lot of satisfaction,” he said in response to a question.

Pakistan squandered some fielding opportunities. Nawaz believes their fielding could have been improved.

“In comparison to the first game, we struggled in the field. There is room for improvement, and we will work to address it “He came to a conclusion.
