In anticipation of the highly awaited Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially confirmed the dates and venues for the upcoming league, according to well-placed sources. The league is scheduled to take place from February 17 to March 17, 2024, with matches set to be held across four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan. The final showdown will be hosted in Karachi.
Despite the excitement surrounding the event, concerns have emerged regarding stadium attendance in Karachi, particularly during doubleheaders, as previous single matches have not consistently filled the seats. The PCB is currently addressing this issue and plans to release the final schedule once a suitable solution is reached.
The PSL 9 Draft, a crucial step in the lead-up to the tournament, was conducted on Wednesday at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore. Teams finalized their squads through an extensive selection process, setting the stage for an action-packed season.
