Who will be crowned ICC 2023 winners? List to be unvieled from today

The winners of the 2023 International Cricket Council (ICC) Awards will be revealed on Monday, following a rigorous voting process that saw supporters and members of the media from all across the world choose their best players in both men’s and women’s international cricket from the previous calendar year.

The two most sought-after awards, the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year and the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year, will be presented on Wednesday and Thursday after the five Teams of the Year are revealed on Monday and Tuesday.

The Men’s and Women’s T20I Teams of the Year will be announced on Monday, January 23. On Tuesday, January 24, the Men’s Test Team of the Year and the Men’s and Women’s ODI Teams will be announced.

The ICC Voting Academy, an impartial group of media representatives, is choosing all five teams.

Following the announcements of the Team of the Year, there will be individual awards based on performances between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023. The winners of these awards will be selected by the ICC Voting Academy and hundreds of thousands of cricket fans worldwide who registered their preferences on the ICC website (icc-cricket.com).

On Wednesday, January 25, the Associate, T20I, and Emerging Cricketers of the Year will be revealed. On Thursday, January 26, the following awards will be presented in the following order: Umpire of the Year, Men’s and Women’s ODI Cricketers of the Year, Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year, Heyhoe Flint Trophy winner, Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy winner, and Spirit of Cricket award.

In order to honor the top performers in international cricket throughout the year, the ICC Awards were established in 2004. Since January 2021, the ICC has also held monthly awards. Similar to the annual awards, the selection method for the monthly awards involves fan and media voting for players who make the short list.
