Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf expressed confidence on Thursday that the national team would bounce back in the second T20I against South Africa, scheduled for Friday in Centurion.

Ahead of the crucial match, Rauf emphasized the importance of the second T20I, stating, “The second T20I is quite important. We are confident of snatching the victory against the hosts.”

Reflecting on the team’s performance in the first T20I, Rauf acknowledged the mistakes made but reiterated Pakistan’s intent to improve. “We will try to restrict South Africa on minimum total as much as possible,” he added.

The Pakistan cricket team has arrived in Centurion from Durban to prepare for the second T20 international match against South Africa, set to take place tomorrow.

After an 11-run defeat in the first T20I, Pakistan is eager to bounce back and level the series.

Despite the loss, Shaheen Afridi made history by becoming the third Pakistani bowler to take 100 wickets in T20 Internationals. He also became the first Pakistani player to take 100 wickets in all three formats of international cricket.
