Starting with the Spring Recap, YouTube Music will introduce fresh seasonal summaries of your favourite artists, songs, albums, and playlists. At the conclusion of last year, YouTube released a Spotify Wrapped-style yearly overview, but now YouTube owner Google is expanding the concept with seasonal rundowns.

Ayshaw Khan, YouTube’s product manager, made a blog post about it, “Similar to the 2021 Recap, you’ll find your personalized content in the Spring Recap landing page on the YouTube Music app along with your personalized Spring Recap playlist.”
Added, “Want to tell your friends about your favorite songs of the Spring? Easily share your Spring Recap playlist and stats by simply tapping the arrow at the bottom of your stats card.”

Every year, the release of Spotify’s yearly recaps marks a pleasant few days on the internet – it’s always interesting to analyse attentively what music people listened to the most. Though I haven’t seen any YouTube Music recaps cross my Twitter feed yet, it appears like YouTube is attempting to make that shared experience a more common practise.
