WhatsApp tests Android and iOS video call avatars
Users can change the way their avatar looks so that it looks...
It’s easier to switch from an Android phone to an iPhone if you use WhatsApp. The chat messenger’s chat transfer feature is now available in the main app (it’s no longer in beta), so you can move all your chat history from Android phones to iPhones.
The feature was seen on WhatsApp Beta before, but now it is available for everyone.
A new way to keep the chats that mean the most 📱📲 Today, you’ll have the ability to transfer your entire chat history from Android to iOS and vice versa. Now you have the freedom to switch to and from your preferred devices.

It’s almost the same as switching from an iPhone to an Android phone. Both devices need to be plugged in and on the same Wi-Fi network, or the Android phone needs to be connected to the hotspot on the iPhone. To pair with the Move to iOS app, you’ll need the Move to iOS app on your Android phone, and the iPhone must be brand new or reset to factory settings.
The Android phone needs Android 5 or higher, and the iPhone needs iOS 15.5 or higher. On WhatsApp’s official FAQ page, you can read the whole guide.
When you move your chat history, all of your account information, profile picture, individual chats, group chats, media, and settings will move with it. However, your call history and display name will not.
Get the new feature by making sure your WhatsApp is running the most recent version.
