Elon Musk has made many changes to Twitter since taking over, including significant layoffs, $8 for blue tick, advertising, and more.
Now, he’s released an update saying that the company would soon support long-form content in tweets and that he’ll put an end to the insanity of posting screenshots of notepads.
This is what he said in a tweet:

Music producer and DJ Adam Foster asked, “Twitter VS Substack Will people be able to subscribe to pieces of writing like this?” Musk responded, “Absolutely.”
Elon Musk, in yet another cryptic post, mocked Twitter’s search function and predicted improvements in the road.
Earlier, Twitter introduced a new USD 7.99 per month Blue subscription in its iOS app for Apple iPhone customers.
Twitter adds, “Sign up now for USD 7.99/month Twitter Blue. Blue checkmark: Power to the people: Your account will earn a blue checkmark like celebrities, companies, and politicians you follow.”
After the news went viral, micro-blogging site product manager Esther Crawford stated the new blue “isn’t live yet”.

Twitter also indicated other app features will be implemented soon.
“Soon… Since you’re helping Twitter fight bots, we’ll give you half the advertising and make them twice as relevant.”

Twitter Blue with verification is available for iOS in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and UK.
Musk verified the claims on Tuesday and stated that Twitter’s membership service with priority in replies, mentions, and searches will cost USD 8.
