Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite gets Android 13 upgrade

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) received the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable upgrade last month, and now the 2022 model is getting a taste of Android 13 and One UI 5.0.

The firmware version P615XXU4FWA5 is being rolled out for the LTE variant (SM-P615). It has a new taskbar for the tablet and enhances multitasking. The update also includes a new lock screen customization menu and performance improvements for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

However, the One UI 5.0 update includes the November 2022 security patch, despite the fact that certain Samsung devices have already begun receiving the January 2023 security patch.

Furthermore, the update is presently only available in France, but it should be available in other countries soon. The Wi-Fi model (SM-P610) should have One UI 5.0 shortly as well.

If you live in France and have not yet gotten One UI 5.0 on your Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, you can manually check for it by going to the tablet’s Settings > Software Update menu.
