How can you restore a deleted WhatsApp conversation?
Many people prefer the WhatsApp app because it provides an easy-to-use interface....
WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is launching a new feature for Android beta that will allow users to report status updates.
According to WABetaInfo, beta testers will notice a new “report” function inside the status options.
Users can use the new function to report any status update that may violate the Terms of Service, which will then be forwarded to the company’s moderation staff.
Furthermore, the feature ensures that all messages, media, location sharing, calls, and status updates are encrypted end-to-end across all devices.
This means that no one else can access the users’ personal messages or listen to their private calls, not even WhatsApp, Meta, or a proxy service.
The new function is beneficial since it makes the site safer and more secure for all users.
According to the report, the ability to report status updates is now accessible for select beta testers after installing the newest update of WhatsApp beta for Android on the Play Store, and it is likely to roll out to additional users in the coming days.
It was reported in January that the messaging platform was working on this feature for the Android beta.
