In a puzzling case that captured international attention, the alleged “alien mummies” discovered at Lima airport in Peru last October have been debunked as elaborate humanoid dolls. Forensic experts, called in to investigate the mysterious specimens, have determined that they are crafted from a combination of paper, glue, metal, and various animal bones, including those of birds and dogs.
The dolls, resembling mummified figures adorned in traditional Andean attire, were initially shrouded in speculation after being seized by customs en route to a Mexican citizen. The forensic archaeologist leading the investigation, Flavio Estrada, unequivocally stated, “They are not extra-terrestrials; they are not aliens,” dispelling any notions of extraterrestrial origin.
X-ray analysis revealed that the dolls were assembled with bones from Earth-based animals, using modern synthetic glues. Estrada emphasized that the dolls were not crafted during pre-Hispanic times, dismissing claims that they could be remnants of ancient extraterrestrial life.
The saga took a bizarre turn when a separate three-fingered hand, believed to be from Peru’s Nazca region, was also examined and found to have no connection to alien life. Estrada disclosed that the poorly constructed hand was assembled using human bones.
The discovery of the dolls in Peru had initially fueled speculation, particularly after a Mexican journalist and UFO enthusiast claimed to have found evidence of alien life, presenting similar-looking “alien corpses” to the Mexican congress in September. However, skepticism prevailed among scientists, who deemed the figures likely hoaxes made from animal parts and disfigured human mummies.
The ownership of the mysterious dolls is yet to be determined by the prosecutor’s office. While it remains unclear if they are connected to the bodies presented in Mexico, experts stressed that both sets are undoubtedly of terrestrial origin.
While some researchers have authenticated a set of three-fingered mummies as potential evidence of “non-human” life forms, the broader scientific community is cautious. Claims of 30 percent of these figures being “not from any known species” have surfaced, yet the details of the remaining 70 percent are yet to be revealed.
In light of this revelation, the bizarre case of the “alien mummies” appears to have been unraveled, leaving behind a trail of intrigue and cautionary tales about extraordinary claims in the realm of extraterrestrial discoveries.
