Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Turbo 3 in the Chinese market, heralding the arrival of a new series dedicated to high-performance smartphones.
At the core of the Redmi Turbo 3 is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, Qualcomm’s latest offering tailored for performance-driven smartphones. While not as rapid as the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, it surpasses mid-range SoCs in power and capability.
Yet, the appeal of the Redmi Turbo 3 goes beyond its chipset. The device boasts an extensive feature set, including a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels.
Regarding photography, users can anticipate a 20 MP front-facing sensor and a rear setup consisting of a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor paired with an 8 MP IMX355 ultrawide-angle lens.
Moreover, the Redmi Turbo 3 offers up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage. Notable highlights also include a substantial 5,000 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a robust speaker system.
Operating on Xiaomi’s HyperOS, based on Android 14, the device is set to go on open sale in China on April 15, with expectations for a global release under the POCO F6 branding.
Here’s a summarized overview of the key specifications:
