As the second quarter progresses, the tech world is abuzz with excitement as Oppo prepares to launch its flagship Reno 12 series in China, succeeding the popular Reno 11 series released just six months ago.

Specifications of the Reno 12 Series

The Reno 12 series closely resembles its predecessor, the Reno 11 series, in terms of aesthetics, camera setup, and display design. However, the standout feature lies in the significant improvements in the System on Chip (SoC).

The Reno 12 is anticipated to be a powerhouse, featuring the Dimensity 8300 chipset, a substantial upgrade from the Dimensity 7050 present in the previous model. Moreover, the new flagship Oppo phone may sport a dual 50MP telephoto lens in its camera system.

Introducing the Reno 12 Duo

Recent leaks have revealed intriguing features of the Reno 12 duo. These devices are rumored to come with 12GB RAM, an infrared blaster, an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IP65-rated body, and run on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14.

The expected price of the Reno 12 in Pakistan is $500 (approximately PKR 138,000).

The Reno 12 Pro, positioned as the more premium variant, is designed to stand out. To justify its higher price tag of around $800 (approximately PKR 222,000), it is speculated to feature the flagship Dimensity 9200+ chipset and offer up to 16GB RAM.
