Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reported to have rented a mansion next door to their pals Sir Elton John. They have rented an £8million mansion.
The couple was planning to settle in California, but finding a house during coronavirus pandemic seems to be a headache.
However, Harry and Meghan, along with their son Archie, have rented a house near the Los Angeles home of 73-year-old Sir Elton John. This has brought Meghan closer to her LA-based mother, Doria Ragland.
A source said to the international news, “It is accessible through two guarded checkpoints, and prides itself on being ‘paparazzi-proof’. Most houses here are enormous and quite a few celebs live nearby, including Elton,”
“If they can’t move for another few months, at least they will be happy and very comfortable here,”
“Meghan and Harry have been hunting for months but have yet to find their dream home.
“The market is dive-bombing at the moment so a permanent move seems some time away.
“So they have tried to make life as comfortable as possible in their rented house, and have found a wonderful complex away from prying eyes.
On the other hand, Harry and Meghan are also engaged in charity activities during the ongoing lockdown. They both were spotted giving food packages on behalf of LA-based charity Project Angel Food.
One of the receivers Daniel Tyrell told to the local news sources, “My phone rang and a lady said, ‘Hi this is Meghan from Project Angel Food’,” “I said, ‘Oh, do you want to meet me downstairs?’
“I didn’t really it was THE Meghan at this point,”
“They both said here’s the food and thank you, hope you’re well and that you’re fine,”
“They handed the food over and I said thank you, too. I didn’t let on about it, I didn’t want to make them uncomfortable or anything,”
