FBR Issues Worth Rs. 8 Million Notice to Puncture Mechanic

A shocking incident was reported as the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has sent a notice worth Rs 8 Million Notice to Puncture Mechanic.

As per the details, Muhammad Imtiaz, a resident of Chak 238 RB Awanwala, is received Rs 8 million tax show-cause notice.

The notice mentions that about 6 billion sugar was bought and sold in the name of Muhammad Imtiaz from October 2017 to June 2020.

Imtiaz’s name came to light during an investigation into the records of local sugar mills during the sugar scandal inquiry.

Speaking about the notice, Muhammad Imtiaz said that he feeds five younger siblings by fixing the punctures of motorcycles and bicycles in the village.

He added that he received notice from FBR on 3rd December. Moreover, he also reported that he never visited sugar mills, and do not know how to use an ID card. Imtiaz also said that he has no fare to go to Lahore in response to the FBR notice, adding ‘how can I buy and sell sugar worth billions of rupees?’.
