A video of an alligator biting a man while he swims in a lake has gone viral on social media. The video was initially uploaded to YouTube by The Sun in 2021 and had over 52 million views. The heart-wrenching video has now reappeared online.

The video depicts a man swimming in a lake in Brazil when an alligator appears out of nowhere and begins chasing him frantically. The man swims as quickly as he can towards land, but the alligator gets to bite his arm. While the individual hardly advances, the alligator glides through the water to attack him at high speed.

The alligator bites down on the man in the water, and they both submerge for a moment, leaving behind big splashes. Immediately thereafter, they both emerge, and the swimmer becomes more visible. The man somehow escaped and made it to the bank, although his arm appeared to be injured. The individual was then observed examining the bleeding injuries on his arm.

He is fortunate to have survived!
