About 100 meters before Simly Dam, a road leads to Patriata via Karor and Bunn. Simly Dam, an 80-meter-high earthen embankment dam, offers a serene setting for angling and boating. The dam, completed in 1983, stores water fed by melting snow and natural springs from Murree and Kotli Sattian hills. Boating and Fishing are two main activities here. For fishing, you need to have license (permission) from Capital Development Authority.

How to Get There:

From Islamabad, take the Lehtrar road and turn left at Chirah chowk towards Simli Dam and Patriata. Drive through the picturesque hills for about 15 minutes, bypassing Simli Dam, until you reach the enchanting Karore Valley. Alternatively, from Rawalpindi, use the Khanna Pul on the Islamabad highway, take the tramary road, and turn left from Chirr stop towards Karore.
