Saudi Arabia has announced its intention to create a media center for the upcoming Hajj season, according to Saudi Media Minister Salman Al Dosary. The initiative aims to provide a centralized location for both local and international media to report on the annual pilgrimage. The hub will accommodate around 2,000 media personnel and visitors, offering them the chance to participate in an interactive exhibition showcasing the media infrastructure and government entities involved in the event.

Additionally, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has initiated e-registration for Saudi citizens and Muslims residing in Saudi Arabia who desire to undertake Hajj. There are four packages available at varying prices, ranging from SR4,099 to SR13,265, depending on the accommodation preference.

Saudi Arabia is preparing to host around 2 million pilgrims for Hajj this year, and preparations are well underway. A new plan for foreign pilgrims involves eliminating country designations at the holy sites and assigning places based on the dates of contract finalization.
