There have been stories of various animals and birds deceiving their predators by changing their colour, acting dead, or distorting their bodies to appear much larger than their true size.

After a while, the man drags the dead dog by its leg, as if to remove the body and dispose of it. The dead dog then gets up and rushes away, pursued by the dog who was trying to rouse it up.
