Karachi receives a hot weather today as mercury reaches 37 degrees Celsius. Humidity recorded today is 72 percent. 

Met department forecasts that Karachi can receive maximum temperature, as mercury can reach from 35 to 37 degrees Celsius till the next two days.

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country on Sunday (today). However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in northeast Punjab including Potohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern Balochistan, Islamabad and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, dust-thunderstorm with rain is also expected in districts of south Punjab.

According to the met department, a shallow westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country. Moist currents from Arabian sea are reaching central and northeastern parts of the country.

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country on Monday (tomorrow). However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Potohar region, Islamabad, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.

Hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country in the last 24 hours. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred in upper & central Punjab, Khuzdar, Islamabad and Kashmir.

Rainfall(mm): Punjab: Chakwal 17, Jhelum 14, M.B.Din 10, Sialkot (City 08, AP 05), Islamabad (AP 07), Hafizabad 06, Narowal 05, Lahore (AP 04), Gujrat 03, Gujaranwala, Kasur 01, Kashmir: Garhidupatta 11, Rawalakot 01, Balochistan: Khuzdar 02.

Yesterday’s recorded Highest Maximum Temperature’s (°C): Nokkundi, Dalbandin, Dadu 44, Mohenjo-daro, Turbat 43, Jacobabad, Larkana and Shaheed Benazirabad 42.
