The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts partly cloudy weather and light rain in Karachi and parts of Sindh on Monday evening/night and Tuesday. A shallow westerly wave is affecting most of Pakistan.
During Monday evening/night, Dadu, Sanghar, Karachi, and surrounding areas may experience partly cloudy weather with light rain/drizzle. On Tuesday, Karachi and its surroundings are expected to have light rain/drizzle-thunderstorm, while the rest of the province will likely have mainly cold and dry conditions.
Karachi’s minimum temperatures are forecasted to be between 14-16 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday. Hyderabad is also expected to have minimum temperatures ranging from 14-16 degrees Celsius on these days.
In the past 24 hours, various parts of Sindh, including Karachi, experienced rainfall of different intensities. Mithi recorded the lowest temperature in the province at 07 degrees Celsius. In Karachi, the minimum temperature was 16 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 49 percent. In Hyderabad, the minimum temperature was 16 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 48 percent.
