The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts rain, wind, and thunderstorms in the upper districts of Punjab on Friday and Saturday.

Most of Pakistan is experiencing continental air, with a shallow westerly wave expected to enter western Balochistan later, affecting western and upper Pakistan on Friday.

Thursday evening and night in Lahore and most of Punjab will likely be dry with gusty winds.

On Friday and Saturday, partly cloudy weather with isolated rain, wind, and thunderstorms is expected in Murree, Galyat, and the Potohar regions. Central and southern Punjab will experience hot weather with gusty or dust-raising winds, while the rest of the province will see partly cloudy and dry conditions.

Lahore’s maximum temperatures are forecasted to be between 33-35 degrees Celsius on Friday and 34-36 C on Saturday.

Over the past 24 hours, dry weather persisted in Lahore and most of Punjab, with hot weather in southern districts. Bahawalpur recorded the highest temperature in the province at 39 C, with evening humidity at 19 per cent. In Lahore, the maximum temperature was 35 C, with evening humidity at 23 per cent.
