A weather official mentioned on Monday that the current hot weather in Karachi will ease off after three days due to the arrival of a westward-moving weather system in the country.
According to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz, the ongoing hot weather is expected to last for the next three days. He explained that towards the end of March, Karachi usually experiences hotter weather caused by dry winds from Rajasthan.
On March 21, a westward weather system is forecasted to enter Pakistan, bringing milder temperatures to Karachi. Sarfaraz added that this system will also bring back the sea winds from the southwest, contributing to pleasant weather conditions in the city. Additionally, Sardar Sarfaraz dismissed the possibility of a heatwave in Karachi.
