The flight management system (FMS) developed a technical malfunction, according to officials.
Officials claimed on Monday that an Air India Express flight from Trivandrum to Muscat landed 45 minutes after takeoff due to a technical fault.
“The flight left Trivandrum at 8.30 a.m. and returned at 9.17 a.m.,” they stated.
“There were 105 passengers onboard, and the flight will take off again today (Monday) at 1 p.m.,” an official stated.
A snake was discovered on a Dubai-bound Air India Express flight earlier in December 2022.
