A 19-year-old Pakistani mountaineer Shehroze Kashif has set two new Guinness World Records for being the world’s youngest mountaineer to climb the world’s two highest peaks, Everest (8,849m) and K2 (8,611m) in the same year within three months, according to a press statement issued by the Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) on Wednesday.
Shehroze on his Instgaram while posing with the certificates wrote, “This is something super special and being a Pakistani, I feel very proud to share this news with you all. Alhamdulillah …. I have finally received my both @guinnessworldrecords Certificates with the support and prayers of my parents. This is for you Pakistan.”

The Pakistan Alpine Club praised the young climber for his outstanding performance in hoisting the flag of Pakistan high in the world.
It should be noted that Shehroze also holds the record for being the youngest person to have climbed K2.
