Govt surges diesel by Rs11.30, keeps petrol unchanged for next fortnight

The decision was officially announced through a press release on Saturday.

The federal government has increased the price of high-speed diesel by Rs11.30 per litre, while keeping petrol prices unchanged for the next 15 days. The new prices will take effect from February 1.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of high-speed diesel has been raised from Rs257.08 to Rs268.38 per litre. Meanwhile, petrol will continue to be sold at Rs253.17 per litre during the current fortnight.
