Stanford University includes 12 Pakistani professors in top scientist list

A new achievement has been seen in the education sector as 12 Pakistani teachers have made it to the world’s top two percent of scientists ranked by Stanford University.

As per the details, Stanford University recently issued a list that includes the top 2% of the most-cited scientists in multiple disciplines. Over 160,000 persons are included in the list.

Over 81 professors were recognized in the lifetime research worklist. As per the details, Professor Dr. Mjuahid Abbas, Professor Dr. Zakaullah, and Dr. Abdul Sattar Nizami were selected from Government College University, Lahore.

The Punjab University College’s spokesperson informed the media that Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Dr. Mohammad Sharif, and Dr. Mohammad Akram were selected by Stanford for their lifetime research.

In addition to this, the spokesperson added that six more researchers from Punjab University have been selected in the category for the international examination of one-year research papers.

They include Dr. Hafiz Azhar, Dr. Zeeshan Yousuf, Dr. Mohammad Younis, Dr. Saima Arshad, Dr. Abdur Rehman, and Dr. Noman Raza.

Dr. Mahmood is the only professor from South Asia to have been honored with an award in Information and Library Science.
