Why did American model Hailey Baldwin leave Twitter?

Leading American supermodel Hailey Baldwin explained the reason for her quitting the social networking site, Twitter, saying that it is now a toxic place where the tendency to compare each other is increasing.

Hailey Baldwin spoke in a virtual interview about her experiences on social media that led her to leave Twitter.

Supermodel Baldwin, who recently started v-logging from her YouTube channel, spoke to psychologist Jessica Clemons about the negative effects of social media in a virtual interview.

Hailey also revealed in an interview that her marriage to pop singer Justin Bieber was affected by social media.

Hailey Baldwin said that after her marriage to Justin, fans of Justin’s ex-boyfriend Selena Gomez often posted pictures of Justin with her.

“I think one of the biggest things I struggled with for sure was the comparison aspect of body comparison and looks comparison and behavior comparison,” the model said. “I think when you’re going through a situation where you just have so many people hounding you with the same thing over and over and over again, it starts to mess with your mind and then you start to question everything and you’re like, ‘Is there something that I’m not seeing that they see?'”

The model said that using social media apps makes her nervous and also makes her question her own mental health.

“I don’t even have a Twitter anymore because there was never really a time where I would go on there and it didn’t feel like it was a very toxic environment,” she added. “The thought of even opening the app gives me such bad anxiety that I feel like I’m gonna throw up.”

Hailey Baldwin also said that she has now come up with some new rules for using social media, such as using Instagram only once a week, over the weekends.

“I think one thing I’ve had to come to the conclusion of is trying not to feel like I owe everybody an explanation or owe anybody anything, and really just try to correct what I need to correct personally behind closed doors,” said Baldwin.
