The outstanding first season of Al Pacino and Logan Lerman’s drama series ‘Hunters’ about Nazi hunting was initially made available on Prime Video in February 2020.

The eagerly anticipated second and last season is finally here. A brief clip featuring Josh Radnor’s Lonny Flash has been released to promote the new season.

In the 1970s, a team of Nazi hunters searches for Nazis who have hidden in America in the film Hunters. Radnor portrays a retired actor named Lonny Flash in the show.

After hitting rock bottom, Lonny decided to take up the life of a Nazi hunter and became the team’s resident master of disguise in order to honour his Jewish heritage and find a new purpose.

The clip is an inside grindhouse trailer for a Lonny Flash-starring revenge action movie. The trailer, which features the standard trailer narration from the time, depicts an action film with Lonny Flash seeking vengeance against those responsible for his mother’s murder in “Eight Ways to Shabbat.”

The aggressive and sarcastic nature of the trailer is great for reintroducing Hunters and Lonny Flash to the audience. Lonny served as the show’s main source of humorous relief in the first season in contrast to all the bloodshed that one would expect from a Nazi-hunting drama. “Lonny Flash hunts Nazis. He is also – in his spare time – a movie star. His new film (trailer below) is getting serious Oscar buzz. Very proud of him.”

There will be a time jump from the first season to the second. After a mission gone bad in the interim between seasons, viewers will discover the Nazi hunters squad disbanded and operating independently.

But when they discover that Adolf Hitler is still alive, they come back together. Additionally, as shown through flashbacks, Meyer Offerman played by Al Pacino completes a task on his own that has a significant impact on our Nazi hunters in the present.

Radnor, Pacino, Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Lena Olin, Tiffany Boone, Carol Kane, Louis Ozawa, Kate Mulvany, and Greg Austin will all reprise their first season roles in the upcoming season of the show. Jennifer Jason Leigh will join the show in season 2.

David Weil is the creator, executive producer, and showrunner of Hunters. In addition to Jordan Peele and Win Rosenfeld of Monkeypaw Productions, David Ellender and Matt Loze of Halcyon Studios, Phil Abraham, David J. Rosen, Jerry Kupfer, and Alfonso Gomez-Rejon served as executive producers on Hunters.

On January 13, all episodes of Hunters’ second and final season will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video.
