Prince Harry will reveal more in a new TV interview, an “explosive” memoir in his first American visit to promote the book.

Millions of royal admirers around the world are waiting down the days before the Duke of Sussex’s memoir, Spare, is released on January 10.

On Sunday evening, it was reported that the 38-year-old will discuss the book with legendary US talk show host Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes the following Sunday. The interview will also be available to watch on Paramount Plus.

“Anderson Cooper will interview Prince Harry on 60 Minutes next Sunday, January 8, on CBS,” the show’s official Twitter account announced in a statement.

“It will be Prince Harry’s first U.S. television interview to discuss his upcoming memoir “Spare.”

Their conversation was described as “revealing” in a voice-over for a TV commercial advertising the show.

The Duke follows in the footsteps of his father, the King, who appeared on 60 Minutes in 2005, and his grandpa, the late Prince Philip, who appeared in 1981.

The revelation is guaranteed to give Buckingham Palace a headache in the run-up to the memoir’s release.

Some on Twitter were disappointed by the announcement, which came so soon after the Duke and Duchess’ Netflix series.

One said: “Seems like he wants to stay stuck in the past.

“I mean Oprah, the Netflix documentary, this interview and a book in less than two years. “Seems like a lot to share somewhat of the same story over and over.”

Another person just said, “Pass.”

Some expressed excitement at the talk, with one commenting, “Happy for him to be able to offer his own information about his own life.

“True self-care.”

More secrets from the blockbuster memoir were released over the weekend, and it appears the Royal Family may be in for more surprises in 2023.
