Every season, the audience looks forward to seeing a select few dramas on television. One such drama is Kuch Ankahi, which saw the coming together of Mohammad Ahmed, a writer who can write without the traditional clichés of violence and sibling rivalry, and the Kashf Foundation, which has always produced good scripts empowering women and putting out great messages. Add to it the casting, which features stars like Sajal Aly, Bilal Abbas Khan, Irsa Ghazal, Asma Abbas, Mira Sethi, Qudsia Ali, Ali Safina, and Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui, as well as the direction of Nadeem Baig.
